David is the proud owner of the iconic Tequilas restaurant in Philadelphia, which he opened in 1986 after moving from his hometown of Guadalajara. Disappointed by the lack of quality tequilas in the U.S., he made it his mission to champion authentic agave spirits.
What followed was a decades-long journey of dedication to traditional methods, transparency, and quality鈥攍eading to the creation of Siembra Valles, Siembra Metl, and Siembra Azul.
David is not just a tequila connoisseur鈥攈e鈥檚 a passionate advocate for sustainability, education, and integrity in the agave world.
